At Sigep 2016, artisan gelato favours solidarity

The surplus product on stands will be gathered by volunteers and then sold for a free donation. Advance sale coupons are already available,the donations will be used to purchase food for the area´s needy.

 

Rimini, 15th December 2015 - The 37th SIGEP will also feature ´The Taste of Solidarity´, thanks to an in initiative now at its third edition, organized by the Banco di Solidarietà. 

The gelato that has not been used by exhibitors at the expo will be carefully handled and destined for sale. Donations are at the public´s discretion and advance sales coupons are already available (tel. +39 0541.744817) for booking the 1.5 kg. tubs of gelato, which can be withdrawn at Rimini´s I Malatesta Shopping Centre from Wednesday 27th to Saturday 30th January.

The charitable initiative assume further importance since it involves companies that offer their service free of charge to ensure the project even more success: Gambarini & Muti (graphics), Fotolito Campedelli (printed material), Medec, Domogel, Erremme (tubs), Summertrade (product handling), Screams (point of sale furnishings and fittings), Automax (transport), Best Union (staff), Radio Gamma (media partner).

Naturally, there are also the 100 volunteers of the Banco di Solidarietà, to ensure the best organization.
As in the past, at the end of SIGEP 2016, the donations will go to the purchase of food for the need.
