And just yesterday, SIGEP’s Technical Gelato Committee met in Rimini for the first time in two years.
Corrado Peraboni, CEO of IEG, said: “It was a highly significant moment, both in relational and business terms. The fact of being together again, gave the sense of the choral expression of consensus that drives the gelato supply chain stakeholders in their relationship with SIGEP.”

Flavia Morelli, group exhibition manager of IEG's Food & Beverage division, explains, “The Committee is made up of Acomag, the National Association of Gelato Machinery, Furnishings and Equipment Manufacturers, Artglace, Confederation des Associations des Artisans Glaciers de la Communautè Europenne, the Italian Gelato Makers’ Association, Cna Alimentare, Confartigianato Alimentazione, the Italian Federation of Gelato Makers, Gat - Artisan Gelato Makers of Triveneto, Uif - Gelato Ingredients Group, and the organising Committee of the Gelato World Cup.
