Milan, March 24, 2023 – As spring returns, so does the craving for a refreshing artisan gelato. Celebrated each year on March 24, Gelato Day pays tribute to one of the world’s most beloved treats while promoting traditional craftsmanship and the cultural heritage of European gelato making.
To mark this special day, Mymenu joined the festivities with a heartwarming initiative aimed at delivering smiles to children in the pediatric wards of San Paolo Hospital and Policlinico di Milano – De Marchi Clinic.
The gelato cups, made with a variety of flavors including creamy classics and fruit-based options, were prepared by artisan gelaterias near the two hospitals and delivered by Mymenu riders.
Deliveries took place at 11:00 AM at San Paolo and at 2:15 PM at Policlinico, where the team was supported by volunteers from the Fondazione De Marchi. In total, around 150 individual portions were distributed to young patients, healthcare staff, and accompanying family members and friends.
