The Debut of the “Pink Gelato”
To celebrate the event, MIG will unveil the “Pink Gelato”, a tribute to the Giro and its athletes. This high-protein gourmet flavor is crafted with:
- Ricotta base
- Strawberry juice and pulp
- A hint of red currant – all sourced from the Belluno mountains
Created by the gelato masters of MIG, this unique flavor combines sports nutrition with artisan taste.
A Taste of Cycling Passion
“The Giro 2023 could very well be decided in the Belluno stages,” said Roberto Padrin, Mayor of Longarone. “Presenting it at MIG is a great way to build excitement for the spectacular days to come in May. The stage from Longarone to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo will mark 60 years since the Vajont disaster and write another chapter in international cycling history. For now, let’s start tasting the Giro with our Pink Gelato.”
Camillo De Pellegrin, Mayor of Val di Zoldo, added:
“The Giro will be another great opportunity to showcase the beauty of our Dolomites to the world.”
