MIG Longarone 2023: a must-attend event for Gelato Professionals

The 63rd International Exhibition of Artisan Gelato returns November 26–29 with innovation, training, and global networking

The countdown is on for the 63rd MIG – International Exhibition of Artisan Gelato, set to take place in Longarone from November 26 to 29, 2023. As preparations begin with the first exhibition areas taking shape, MIG is reaffirming its role as a premier event for the artisan gelato industry, focused on alignment, qualification, innovation, and professional training.

A 360° Look at the Modern Gelato Business

This year’s event brings together leading companies presenting solutions across the full spectrum of the modern gelato business—from raw ingredients to machinery for gelato and chocolate, cups and cones, refrigerated display cases, furniture and signage, as well as products for coffee and pastry shops, toppings, and much more.

MIG 2023 will also place strong emphasis on education and best practices, with sessions designed to help professionals improve and elevate their businesses through actionable insights and know-how.

An International Showcase of Artisan Talent

More international than ever, MIG 2023 welcomes delegations of gelato makers from around the world who will not only explore the latest industry innovations but also demonstrate their skills with unique gelato creations—particularly from Spain, Japan, and Argentina.

A strong presence from the Balkan and Eastern European regions—including visitors, buyers, and exhibitors from Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, and Hungary—will make MIG a key hub for building commercial partnerships and discovering new business opportunities.

Among them, the Sirha Budapest Trade Fair, Hungary’s leading biennial event dedicated to the agri-food sector (including gelato and pastry), will be on site to preview its 2024 edition.

Innovation Beyond the Gelato Shop

MIG will also highlight diversification opportunities—showcasing how artisan gelato can enhance the dining experience in restaurants, positioning dessert as an integral part of a high-quality, local, and culturally rich tasting journey.

Spotlight on Gelato Day 2024

During the event, Artglace will unveil the 2024 official Gelato Day flavor, a creation dedicated to Belgium, in preparation for the 12th annual European Artisan Gelato Day. The winners of the Gelato Day 2023 video contest, focused on the Apfelstrudel flavor, will also be announced.
