MIG Longarone 2023: Preparations for the 63rd Edition Already Underway
Following the positive outcomes of MIG 2022, the organization of Longarone Fiere has quickly begun preparations for the 63rd edition of the International Exhibition of Artisan Gelato (MIG 2023). The success of last year’s event, following the pandemic slowdown, has provided a solid foundation for a strong relaunch.
"We are working on multiple fronts to make MIG 2023 even more appealing and engaging," says Michele Dal Farra, the newly appointed president of Longarone Fiere. "Our focus is on providing innovative services, maintaining year-round engagement with potential stakeholders, and securing international contacts that can be finalized at the fair. Our main markets continue to be Germany, Central and Eastern European countries, and Italy, where there is a long-standing tradition of gelato making. Additionally, we will be increasing our attention to emerging markets with significant medium-term growth potential."
MIG 2023 will be a trade-only event, with access granted exclusively to business owners and their teams for the four days of the exhibition. This will ensure a professional environment for presentations and business negotiations.
The program of competitions and events will be updated to better support the exhibition, addressing key topics of high relevance, in collaboration with industry trade associations.
Training initiatives will also be a key feature of MIG 2023, further enhancing its value as a platform for professional and managerial growth—crucial in navigating the current socio-economic landscape.
Additionally, Longarone Fiere has strengthened its team with the appointment of Alessandro Piccinini, an experienced export manager with a proven track record in the trade fair industry and large companies within the sector. Thanks to his expertise, Piccinini will be responsible for reorganizing the internal structure to ensure that the ongoing changes deliver the desired results.
The 63rd edition of MIG is set to take place from Sunday, November 26 to Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Longarone Fiere Dolomiti.
