A historic brand, led by Domenico Lucchese, which has brought its tradition to the capital, where the III Edition of the Coppa Italia di Gelateria took place.
For the competition, held at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, Lucchese won the "Innovation Award" with his unique creation: a cinnamon gelato—dry, sharp, and sweet—swirled with capers, offering a bold and penetrating flavor, and finished with Malvasia wine from Salina, which adds a honey-like sweetness in the aftertaste.
A family brand since 1937, famous for flavors like pesto and jasmine, Lucchese has continued to push the boundaries of his passion, creating innovative flavors through years of work and experimentation.
"I brought the flavors of Sicily, my homeland, to Rome. While staying true to tradition and Sicilian excellence, I aim to personalize my gelato through unique flavors and local ingredients that, when combined, create a pleasant and balanced product," says Domenico Lucchese, the master gelato maker.
