On Sunday, January 22, the selection for German gelato masters will take place as part of the Gelato Festival World Masters. The winners will secure a spot in the 2024 global competition, representing Germany in the prestigious international event.
January 23: Gambero Rosso and the 2023 Guide to Italy’s Best Gelaterias
Monday, January 23, will feature Gambero Rosso presenting the 2023 Guide to Gelaterias, showcasing the best artisanal gelato labs across the nation.
January 24: CNA Agroalimentare Award and Educational Courses
Tuesday, January 24, will be marked by the CNA Agroalimentare awards ceremony for their members. The awards are divided into four categories: career, innovation, young promise, and gelateria led by female entrepreneurs. Additionally, an introductory gelato-making course by Maestro Palmiro Bruschi of Carpigiani Gelato University will be held, along with two insightful talks: one by AMPI (Accademia Maestri Pasticceri Italiani) on semifreddi, their seasonality, and business opportunities, and another by Martino Luizzi, an expert in food studies and president of the Center for Artisan Gelato Studies, on the future of Green Gelato.
January 25: Full Day of Training for Culinary Schools
Wednesday, January 25, will be entirely dedicated to training for hospitality schools and higher education institutions, with interventions and masterclasses from Gelato University, Confartigianato, and Cast Alimenti.
