Rimini, December 21, 2022 – At the 44th edition of SIGEP – The Dolce World Expo, pastry excellence will be on display through an intense schedule of national and international competitions, aimed at showcasing the talent behind the sweetest art. Organized by Italian Exhibition Group, SIGEP will be held at the Rimini Fair from January 21 to 25, 2023. Beyond unveiling new products, the latest market analyses, and the most up-to-date machinery and accessories, the event will highlight the best artisan pastry chefs with a packed calendar of contests and competitions. AB Tech Expo will also provide a focus on technologies and products for baking, pastry, and confectionery. Thanks to collaborations with key artisanal and industrial associations, master pastry chefs, and ICE (Italian Trade Agency), SIGEP will host various industry sectors within a cohesive layout. Here, several major competitions will take place, including challenges among pastry chefs and the crowning of the 2023 Pastry Queen, offering unmissable opportunities for pastry masters to showcase their skills inspired by a specific theme: from the classics of animated cinema, to the vibrant nature of the Amazon rainforest, to the genius of Leonardo Da Vinci.
