52nd Coppa d'Oro Contest
A major new feature! The top two Italian gelaterias and the first under 35 will win direct access to the Coppa Italia 2023 final.
Founded in 1970, the "Coppa d'Oro" international contest is considered the Oscar of artisanal gelato. Every year, it offers gelato masters from all over the world the chance to showcase their professional skills. The competition’s hall of fame includes gelato artisans who have made history in the field.
In the 2021 edition, the winner was Curzio Baraggi from the “Prossima Fermata” gelateria in Milan. The flavor for the 2022 edition will be Malaga: egg cream, sultanas, and alcohol.
- Sample delivery: Monday, November 28
- Finals: Tuesday, November 29, and Wednesday, November 30

3. GELATO A DUE - MIG
Chefs and gelatieri team up to compete with gourmet gelato.
At the 62nd Mostra Internazionale del Gelato Artigianale, a chef and a gelato maker will work together in a team, preparing:
- 1 gourmet gelato paired with an appetizer, main course, dessert, pizza, or street food.
- 1 plated dessert gelato.
The Gelato a Due contest will take place on November 28-29, 2022 with:
- Antonio Mezzalira – President of the Jury
- Marco Valletta – Judge for the first course (gastronomic gelato)
- Marco Reato – Judge for the second course (dessert gelato)

2. UNA PRALINA IN GELATERIA
A contest for the best chocolate praline, reserved for gelatieri.
Organized by Longarone Fiere Dolomiti in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese Alimentazione, this contest aims to promote the diffusion and integration of chocolaterie in artisanal gelaterias.
The Una Pralina in Gelateria contest will take place on November 29, 2022, during the 62nd Mostra Internazionale del Gelato Artigianale in Longarone.
