Rome/Longarone, May 5, 2025 – VEGANOK and Longarone Fiere Dolomiti proudly announce a strategic partnership for the upcoming edition of MIG – International Exhibition of Artisan Gelato, taking place from November 30 to December 3, 2025, in Longarone (Belluno, Italy). MIG is the world’s oldest trade fair entirely dedicated to artisan gelato.
Now in its 65th edition, MIG 2025 will showcase the entire gelato supply chain. Alongside classic offerings, the event will give space to new food trends and companies embracing innovation and sustainability.
As the food industry evolves, consumer preferences increasingly shift towards ethical, plant-based, and sustainable options. According to data from the VEGANOK Observatory, plant-based gelato sales in Italy grew by 17.3% between 2021 and 2023, with an additional 6.8% increase recorded in early 2024. The trend is even stronger in Germany—traditionally linked to MIG—where vegan food & beverage product launches are among the highest in Europe. During MIG 2023, UNITEIS, the Union of Italian Artisan Gelato Makers in Germany, presented “VegaNuss” (HazelVegan), a refined hazelnut-based vegan flavor, as the Gelato Flavor of the Year 2024, perfectly aligned with the growing vegan trend.
In this context, VEGANOK becomes the Official Partner of MIG 2025, with the shared goal of creating a unique platform for gelato professionals, companies, buyers, and the media.

During the event, the VEGANOK Observatory will release its digital magazine “MIG 2025 Special Edition” (available on STRIPE), featuring market insights, emerging trends, and interviews with leading companies in the vegan gelato sector.
Additionally, VEGANOK will host a rich schedule of talks, workshops, and show cooking sessions, offering deep dives into vegan gelato innovation, practical insights for industry professionals, and inspiration for businesses looking to invest in this fast-growing segment.
