More than 20,000 visitors have attended to meet the newest technologies of the market, and the majority of the 133 exhibitors from 25 countries have already planned to come back with even bigger booths for next year’s exhibition.
The capacity to reunite equipment suppliers, ingredients, utensils and solutions with manufacturers, operators, specialists and entrepreneurs activating in the field has assured the success of the exhibition. At the booths visitors have found the newest and most efficient solutions for businesses such as bakeries, confectioneries, pastry shops, restaurants, coffee houses, mills, hotels, chocolate houses, ice cream shops or other related specialized shops.
Focus on technology and professionalism at the GastroPan booths
The visitors of Expo GastroPan had the opportunity to experience, try and taste a large variety of products, solutions, machineries, technologies and ingredients presented at the booths of the 133 worldwide suppliers from 4 continents, from countries such as Egypt, USA, France, Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria, Poland, Netherlands and China, who exhibited their solutions on a 7,000 sqm exhibition space. Trends highlighted at this year’s GastroPan included natural and premium ingredients, using natural ingredients and pastes for flavoring, with high content of fruit, chocolate, caramel or pasta 100% (peanuts, pistachios, etc.) and decoration and variegato with pieces of fruit, cream-toppings, coatings, fillings with crunchy goods, elegant shapes, surprising combinations of flavors and textures: soft & crunchy, sweet & salty, hot & cold. The exhibition also presented equipment produced by suppliers having a very good reputation worldwide: the most energy efficient ovens, dough dividing and forming lines, rotary ovens, dough mixer with removable bowl, planetary mixer etc.
Numerous demo shows at the booths of the exhibitors
This year Expo GastroPan has been once again the place for innovation and creativity, hosting even more demo shows which underlined the usefulness and the efficiency of the exhibited technologies. At the booths World and Olympic champion bakers, chefs, confectioners and cake designers have shared their talents with thousands of visitors who had the opportunity to taste various products prepared at the booths of the exhibitors (bakery and pastry products, pizza, ice-cream, fries, coffee, wine, different deserts etc.). Fruit and vegetable sculpting, modelling sugar paste and the technique of modelling pulled, blown and poured sugar were among the biggest attractions of GastroPan 2016.
