SIGEP, organized by IEG - Italian Exhibition Group, will be back live in 2022 filling the entire trade show area. At Rimini Expo Centre (Italy), from 22nd to 26th January, the 43rd International Artisan Gelato, Pastry, Bakery and Coffee Trade Show will place the dolce and horeca worlds at the centre of business with companies of such calibre as Carpigiani, Gruppo Optima (with the Mec3, Pernigotti-Maestri Gelatieri Italiani, Giuso brands), Fabbri 1905, Lavazza, Valrhona, Polin Group and Molino Quaglia.
And just yesterday, SIGEP’s Technical Gelato Committee met in Rimini for the first time in two years.
Corrado Peraboni, CEO of IEG, said: “It was a highly significant moment, both in relational and business terms. The fact of being together again, gave the sense of the choral expression of consensus that drives the gelato supply chain stakeholders in their relationship with SIGEP.”
Flavia Morelli, group exhibition manager of IEG's Food & Beverage division, explains, “The Committee is made up of Acomag, the National Association of Gelato Machinery, Furnishings and Equipment Manufacturers, Artglace, Confederation des Associations des Artisans Glaciers de la Communautè Europenne, the Italian Gelato Makers’ Association, Cna Alimentare, Confartigianato Alimentazione, the Italian Federation of Gelato Makers, Gat - Artisan Gelato Makers of Triveneto, Uif - Gelato Ingredients Group, and the organising Committee of the Gelato World Cup. So, with the nine associations in attendance, we had a complete representation of the gelato supply chain with full appreciation for the programme of topics and development opportunities that will bring Sigep 2022 to life.”
